The one time our washing machine broke, it didn’t just stop working or not fill up with water, or something fairly harmless like that. Instead, it mutilated my favorite sweater. Somehow, something went wrong internally, my sweater caught inside and got demolished. I may have shed a tear or two over it and possibly gave the washing machine a swift kick in anger (not something I recommend).

And what for, when your own can still run like new with a few kinks knocked out of it?  So don’t let your sweater get demolished, take the steps to get it repaired as soon as you see signs of failure. Because losing that favorite piece of clothing is traumatizing, trust me.
